This is an extremely popular commercial it has nearly 10 million views on YouTube. Yes, there are a lot of nerds out there, myself included, who enjoy video games, but 10 million views for a commercial is saying something. One reason this commercial is so powerful is because it incorporates some recognizable heroes from PS3 games. If you’ve played God of War, Call of Duty or Assassins Creed you immediately recognize some of the characters. Sony uses these characters and their stories to create the emotional connection with the viewer. I’m a video game nerd and wish Microsoft had run something like this for Xbox-360, but for now the Sony Playstation 3 ad will have to do. Enjoy!
